ACCD Level I requirements are ready
The Workroom organizes evidence across ten two-hour leadership and club-management domains. Completing 20 education hours does not itself issue the ACCD credential; ASI retains the final review and award decision.
Designed for professional recognition
Club directors, program administrators, and organizational leaders. The framework is intended to recognize a combination of relevant learning, demonstrated practice, experience, and leadership - not completion of a single course alone.
Level I pathway
The approved Level I outline covers athlete safeguards, leadership and culture, governance, finance, operations, people, communications, events and facilities, legal risk, and future planning. The Workroom tracks evidence against each domain.
- Review the published competency and eligibility standard.
- Organize qualifying education, experience, and other evidence.
- Apply to ASI through the approved credentialing process.
- Maintain the credential through continuing development and ethical practice.
Education supports the pathway
American Sport Education is the ecosystem's education and professional-development division. ASI remains the standards and credentialing authority.
