The ASI standard

Credibility starts with a clear standard.

ASI is building credential frameworks around defined competencies, evidence, evaluation, governance, and continuing professional growth.

01 · Relevance

Built around real roles

Standards begin with the responsibilities, knowledge, judgment, and leadership required in the field.

02 · Evidence

More than attendance

Credentials are intended to recognize relevant education, experience, demonstrated competency, and professional practice.

03 · Integrity

Independent decisions

Education can support readiness, while credential award decisions remain the responsibility of ASI.

Framework lifecycle

From role analysis to renewal.

Each credential will move through a documented development and maintenance process before public launch.

  1. Define the role and purpose

Clarify the professionals served, the public value, and the boundaries of the credential.

  2. Establish competencies

Identify the knowledge, skills, judgment, experience, and behaviors relevant to sound practice.

  3. Set evidence and assessment rules

Publish what qualifies, how evidence is reviewed, and how decisions are made.

  4. Approve governance protections

Document ethics, conflicts, appeals, complaints, verification, and credential status controls.

  5. Review and renew

Maintain relevance through ongoing review and continuing professional-development expectations.

Governance is part of the standard—not an afterthought.
